East Elementary 5th Grade Gettysburg Trip, May 17, 2016
Lately I have realized that the biggest, or most important project that I have been working on for the past 11 years has been my son Emmett. At the time of his birth I could never have dreamed of the obsticals which were ahead. Recently I traveled to Gettysburg with Emmett's 5th grade class. For me this trip was filled with metaphor that seemed to parallel the course that I am on with by son. No matter how challenging this journey can be, it has been worth every minute.
